Studio Journal Entry #1

-Through the past spring, I've brainstormed an idea when entering a film contest on campus where a movie had to be five minutes long and finished within in a week. In the following is what I've brainstormed through the past:

Unstable teenager walking around feel lost within a town every once in a while an image of a girl he dreamt of keeps appearing where ever he goes along with a voice over explaining who this girl was and why is she in my dreams,
Hes on his way to see this drug dealer and the dealer turns him onto to these new pills being as neurotic he takes them right away,
Then at a random destination the girl appears in physical form, cant believe his own eyes he manages to strike up a conversation and then we can do a little dialogue jus short and simple then it would lead to a simple coffee shop date.
On the day of the date the main character arrives early waiting for the girl after being in denial and waiting for hours he finally decides to start to leave, being depressed he reaches for those new pills of his and the second he swallows them he hears his name being called from behind, it was the girl again, the girl of his dreams she apologizes for being late, small conversation happens, had to end quick for the main character had to leave at that moment but before they managed to set up another date.
smiling as he walks away he puts his hands in his pocket and remembering the pills he has and possibly makes a curious connection between the pills and the girl.
Later in the week he becomes torn whether if the girl is real or not with the pills staring him in the face feeling depressed and stress he takes the pills again and then passes out untill he is woken up from a phone call of the girl calling to confirm the date making the character overly happy
Now before the date night while hes getting ready he has realizes that the girl of his dreams was only seen after taking the pills. his loneliness takes over finishing the last of of the many pills left becoming normal he hears the knock of his true love at the door, still knocking as he approaches the door he opens the door but the noise is still knocking

Then it cuts to the main character basically mouth open pale to the face with his eyes wide open the knocking stops and you hear the girls voice as it zooms out from the main characters dead body. then goes black
